I am a chemical analyst with many years of practical experience in materials testing, food analysis, analysis on environmental matrices and applied analysis in the medical and veterinary fields.
I have studied English, and specifically technical English. I have also had the opportunity to combine my chemical knowledge and language skills to do English to Italian translations. My translations have included documents and texts regarding standard analytical methods, user manuals, sheets and specifications on chemicals, etc.
Beginning in 2010 I started working as a freelancer, translating scientific texts and technical documents from English into Italian and vice versa. I work in Microsoft Office, Acrobat Reader, and the CAT tool SDL Trados. I also translate from French, Spanish, Portuguese, and Romanian.
